As an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic you will provide a quality service, helping with repairs and maintenance on a variety of models but specializing in Mitsubishi vehicles.

    This is a great opportunity for the right person to commence their career in a Mitsubishi dealership workshop with a supportive environment where a keen attitude will be rewarded.

    Throughout this 4 year apprenticeship you will be taught all aspects of the trade, including repair, maintenance, testing and use of equipment.

    To be successful in this position you must be committed to delivering an excellent service, honest and reliable, enthusiastic and have common sense. You must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in light vehicles.  A current driver’s licence is preferred but is not essential.

As a Trainee Technical Officer, you will be involved in all aspects of plant operation including loading and unloading of tankers, laboratory work, process monitoring including temperature and pressure checks, preventative maintenance, fault reporting, general plant operation and all other project work as required. Whilst completing this two year traineeship, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification; Certificate III in Process Plant Operations.   • GTES, together with a steel and engineering manufacturer in Canberra, are currently seeking applications from committed and hard working individuals interested in commencing a Boilermaker Apprenticeship, or transferring as a 2nd or 3rd Apprentice.

    As an Apprentice Welder, you will be required to assist in the preparation, measurement and cutting of metal components, interpret drawings and plans, and produce a range of metal fabricated products. This will require the use of an assortment of tools and fabrication techniques including MIG welding, stick welding and oxy cutting. You will also receive valuable on-site experience in steel and metalwork installation.

    To be successful in this position you must be reliable, mature-minded, willing to learn, able to show initiative, possess excellent problem solving skills and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the industry.

    This sawmill is a family owned business which produces Australian Cypress products for the building, furnishing and landscaping industries. Throughout this 4 year apprenticeship you will be exposed to all facets of the timber industry machining trade and will learn valuable skills that will set you up for a rewarding and exciting career. In return for your hard work you will receive a Certificate III in Woodmachining

    Main duties within this role will include the machining of timber products for the building, landscaping and furniture industries. Grant’s range of products varies from structural timber, flooring systems and fencing for construction, to mulches and shavings for gardening applications.

This is a rare, high exposure position where you will not only be working on heavy vehicles in the company fleet, but also plant and machinery.

    Main duties within this role will include:

    • Repairs and fault tracing
    • Electronic diagnosis
    • Service, repair and replacement of mechanical components
    • Service and repair of engines, clutches, suspension and braking systems
