    As an Apprentice Spare Parts Interpreter you will be the first point of contact and as such customer service is a vital part of this position. Duties within this role will also include stock controls and sales both face to face and by telephone.

    This position is suited to a team player with a good eye for detail, strong work ethic and outstanding communication and literacy skills. A current driver’s licence is preferred.

  • EVENTS AND TOURISM TRAINEE

    GTES, together with our Coolamon based client, are currently seeking applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in starting their career as an Events and Tourism Trainee.

    As an Events and Tourism Trainee you will assist with organising and planning of events, such as Junee Rhythm ‘n’ Rail Festival and La Festa Griffith,  maintenance of databases, sourcing and booking of venues, coordinating meeting agendas including meeting minutes , acceptance of RSVPs and providing other administration support as required. The successful applicant will also gain a wide range of exposure to aspects in both the tourism and events industries including experience in marketing and PR through maintenance of the clients website and social media pages. On completion of your 2 year traineeship you will receive a Certificate III in Events.

    To be successful in this position you must have a genuine interest in a career in either events or tourism, have excellent customer service, be reliable, well presented, have attention to detail, strong computer skills and a confident, positive attitude. A current provisional driver’s licence with your own vehicle is essential.  A previous VET qualification in Tourism, Events or Hospitality will be highly regarded.

    GTES, in partnership with our client, currently have an excellent opportunity available for an enthusiastic and committed individual to take on the role of Apprentice Painter.

     As an Apprentice Painter for our client, you will work as a part of a team that is committed to providing their customers with the best service possible. You will work on new homes, restorations and also some larger projects.

    Throughout the 4 year apprenticeship you will learn all aspects of painting and decorating including how to apply paint, primers and sealers, fill holes and cracks, prepare surfaces and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate interior and exterior surfaces, through both on and off the job training.

    To be successful in this role you must be reliable, hardworking, have a good eye for detail, strong communication skills and be well presented. A current NSW White card is essential and a current driver’s licence is preferred.

    As an Apprentice Carpet and Vinyl Layer you will perform duties such as installation of commercial vinyls, vinyl tiles and carpets.  Upon completion of your 4 year apprenticeship you will attain a Certificate III in Furnishing (Flooring Technology).

    To be successful in this position you must have a genuine interest in a career in the industry, be hard working, have good communication skills, be reliable and physically fit. A driver’s licence is preferred however a willingness to obtain a driver’s licence as soon as possible is essential. A white card would also be preferred.
